    With the reg season ending, I want to give some shout outs for the best season in the modern era of IU football. The fans. Several sell outs, decided to stay, I lost sleep about students no-showing tonight & you showed. Best GameDay & B1G Noon crowds ever. It’s an environment 1)

    No disrespect to all the great teams and champions over the years, but this is the biggest moment for the Department since March of 1987. Football legitimacy is sooo elusive. I’m choked up thinking about it.

    Also, @CCignettiIU is the best coach in the sport and this is one of the great turnarounds in sports history. It has been weird that many nationally have lined up to diminish it rather than ask to write the book about it. Whatever. The narratives are all dead now. Onward! #iufb

    I have worked here since 2002. This is THE toughest IU team in any sport in that timeframe. They are junk yard dogs and will fight you. It’s an honor to cheer for this team. Wow!

    I’m not the spokesman for the people, but I think people missed some key things re: IU football. 1) Hoosiers 100% earned it 2)we are one of the 12 best teams (subsequent results bare this out emphatically) 3) Notre Dame is excellent and we weren’t our best in the road. 1/2
