    INTACH is presently doing the Heritage Listing along Chambal river, which flows through 3 states: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh part from Tasond to Bhareh has been completed by INTACH Agra Chapter, where about 80 lesser known sites were discovered.

    Bassian Kothi, Ludhiana was the resting lodge for Maharaja Duleep Singh of Punjab, who stayed here before his exile to England. INTACH undertook the restoration of the building in 2011 & designed a museum dedicated to the life of the Maharaja. The museum was inaugurated in 2015.

    Flora Fountain, Mumbai brought back to its original glory by the INTACH Conservation team led by Subrata Sen. Challenging task.removing 25 layers of paint, cement algal growth. Treatment by steam cleaning and excellent of sculptures. The beautiful structures stand now restored.

    The General Post-Office is a Grade I heritage building in Mumbai. It covers an area of about 4300m. The large central hall rises through the height of the building to the dome. #INTACH will soon submit a Detailed Project Report to Dept. of Telecommunication, GoI for #restoration.

    In the first phase of the Historic Gardens Register initiative, INTACH has just completed the documentation in four states (Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh) comprising of 245 gardens.

    After #Jaipur was declared a #UNESCO World Heritage city, Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) & #INTACH signed an MoU in Jan 2020 for #listing of #heritage sites in the #walled city. Field surveys at #Chowkri Modikhana & #Ghat Darwaza have begun & will resume post the lockdown.

    Under the HRIDAY scheme of MoUHA, INTACH carried out the thematic development of 10 roads in Varanasi between September 2018 & May 2019. The work included the repair of road-facing walls, signage, dustbins, transformer enclosures & art-work, depicting its local heritage.

    INTACH undertook extensive Heritage documentation & several conservation initiatives in Varanasi which led to design of 4 iconographic maps, titled Kashi Bhraman, Kashi Darshan, Kashi Darpan and Kashi Chitran, unfolding different layers of the centuries-old holy city.

    739 #heritage sites were identified & documented in Bhilwara, Chittaurgarh & Jhawalar districts. The #forts, #palaces, havelis, religious, & water structures majorly date back to 15th-17th century. Some important sites include Garh of Jahazpur, Garh of Begu, Prithvi Vilas Palace.
