Christopher Alder died in police custody in 1998, face down in a pool of blood and handcuffed, while police officers made monkey imitations.
His family believed they had buried him in 2000, but his body was later found in 2011 in a mortuary.
BREAKING: A police officer has been convicted of the manslaughter of Dalian Atkinson.
This is the first time a police officer has been convicted of manslaughter in England and Wales in 35 years.

Chris Kaba, 24, was fatally shot by a firearms officer from the Metropolitan Police on Monday.
His family have issued the following statement calling for a homicide investigation, and for public information on whether a weapon was found in the car.

Chris Kaba was not a suspect and was being followed by a police car without lights or sirens before he was shot dead by a firearms officer
In the aftermath the Met said Kaba had been shot in “a vehicle pursuit”. The IOPC summary made no mention of a chase
Dalian Atkinson died on 15 August 2016 following use of force by West Mercia police officers, including restraint & Taser.
Two police officers will now stand trial at Birmingham Crown Ct. One for murder/manslaughter the other for Actual Bodily Harm.
