    🛑ASTEROID ATMOSPHERIC ENTRY ALERT ‼️ Freshly discovered ~1m asteroid (CAQTDL2) is in a trajectory that will direct it into the Earth atmosphere, near Luzon island (Philippines), today (Sep. 4th) around 16h 41min UT. No real impact, but a nice fireball and potential meteorites!

    🛑 ☄️ IMMINENT ASTEROID ATMOSPHERIC ENTRY☄️🛑 In a few hours, on February 13, ~02h 59min UT, a small freshly discovered 1-m diameter asteroid, Sar2667 is to enter the Earth atmosphere above the Channel. A bright fireball should be visible from North Fr., Belg., NLs and GB.

    ‼️ IMMINENT ASTEROID ATMOSPHERIC ENTRY ‼️ In 75 minutes, on January 21st, ~00h 32min UT, a small freshly discovered 1-m diameter asteroid, Sar27367 is to enter the Earth atmosphere above North-Eastern Germany (lat. ~ 52.54494°N, lon. ~ 12.52813°E).

    ☄️☄️You think 2023 Perseid meteor show is over? It's not! Next night, Perseid meteor shower rates should remain decent, and there is a probability the Earth will cross a dust trail released from 109P/Swift-Tuttle in 68 BC on Aug. 14, between 01h and 02h45 UT. Keep on observing!

    Probably one of the last bright fireball of 2017, but what a fireball! More than 150 witnesses reported a very bright meteor observed around 17h 35min UT, on Dec 31, and reports keeps coming in! fireballs.imo.net/members/imo_vi… If you observed it, please report! ukmon.imo.net

    On August 25th, 2024, 06h 50 UT, a meter-sized asteroid entered the atmosphere above Korkwood, in South Africa. Immediatly after, a 9-year-old girl saw a meteorite falling from a fig tree. A rare achondritic breccia had just been recovered! imo.net/daylight-fireb…

    🛑 IMPACT ! ☄️ Yesterday night (Mar 11, 2022, 21h23 UT), 2022 EB5, a small asteroid (3-4 m diameter) discovered a few hours before, entered the atmosphere and was recorded by visual witnesses and infrasonic monitoring system. If you saw it, please report! fireballs.imo.net

    Impact! When 2022 EB5 struck the Earth north of Iceland this morning, it became the 5th asteroid to be discovered prior to impacting Earth.
