- When one of your players is going through something, if you really care about them, it’s like you are going through it also. Our softball family has a young lady that has her brother missing up at Lake Okoboji since Saturday night. Our team is praying hard for her and her family
- This young lady 16 miles down the road from Fort Dodge and ICCC is and should be an inspiration to all of us. I have seen her play a couple of times this year and to see what she is doing is courageous and amazing! Keep going strong Ashlyn! - Saw something from our team today that was very impressive and totally from the heart. One of their teammates lost everything in a fire back home during the night. Witnessing first hand how important it is to be their for each other. “Once a Triton, Always a Triton”.
- A big congrats to our own Bre Tjebben on her signing with Morningside! Sad we couldn’t have her sign with teammates though! She will do great things there. #RTR
- Softball and baseball transforming equipment room into a little clubhouse/lounge. Good team effort today between both programs.
00:00 - Tritons sweep NE Nebraska today 14-0 and 19-3. Cheyenne Andersen breaks the school record for career homeruns hitting 4 in game two. She now has 33 for her career and 19 this year alone. Congrats team and Cheyenne!!
- First road trip of the year! Annual stop at Tropical Smoothie Café in West Des Moines for dinner on the way to Kansas City. Flying to Tampa tomorrow morning at 5:45 a.m.
- Our team would like to offer our condolences to the USC Union Softball team who had two members of their team killed in a head on collision Friday night. Two others were injured including the coaches daughter. Their team stayed at same hotel as we did while in Florida last week.
- Ended our season today which is always tough. It’s tough saying good bye to a great group of young ladies. Sophomores we will miss you tremendously and freshmen let’s get better and work hard over the summer. 40-17 to end the year. Tons of fun with this group. #memories
