    In 1934, Buck O’Neil played several years of semiprofessional baseball in interracial exhibition games. In 1937, O’Neil signed with the Memphis Red Sox to play in the newly formed Negro American League. We want the Baseball Hall of Fame to induct Buck! #HyVeeForBuckO @NLBMuseumKC

    We want Buck O’Neil to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame! O’Neil was named manager of the Monarchs in 1948, and continued to play first base through 1951. He managed the Monarchs for 8 seasons from 1948-1955. #HyVeeForBuckO
