Public train stations should not be urging โ€˜sinnersโ€™ to repent. It is obviously inappropriate and profoundly misjudged to broadcast hadiths or any religious scripture at passengers. We will be writing to the Transport Secretary to outline our concerns.

It's actually happened... A school in Birmingham has withdrawn its lessons on LGBT acceptance because 400 Muslim parents petitioned against it. This is not the way forward. humanism.org.uk/2019/03/04/schโ€ฆ

The term โ€˜revertโ€™ refers to the belief in Islam that everyone is โ€˜bornโ€™ Muslim and thus religious converts are merely Muslims who found their way back. This may be what Muslims *believe* but BBC editorial ought to be religiously neutral and stick to factual term like โ€˜convertโ€™.
'Eid celebration can be lonely for Muslim reverts' bbc.in/43GwEyk
    Readers added context
Use of the term "revert" instead of "convert" is controversial, since it implies someone is returning to a natural belief system (claimed by some Muslims to be Islam), rather than adopting one they have freely chosen. wikihow.com/Revert-Muslim#โ€ฆ.

'No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away... The span of someoneโ€™s life is only the core of their actual existence.' A great humanist sentiment by author Terry Pratchett. He was our patron & is sorely missed. He died #OnThisDay 2015. @terryandrob

'We really donโ€™t need more faith schools in this country. I wish the government would prioritise inclusive schools, rather than using taxpayerโ€™s money to fund the Church of England's indoctrination programme.' Our Vice President @theAliceRoberts.

In case you missed it: England says bye bye to homeopathy. It's no longer funded anywhere on the NHS in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland. A victory for rational thinking over pseudoscience. humanism.org.uk/2018/08/07/vicโ€ฆ
