    • Transgender is not a sexuality • Trans is not a “type of gay” • No child is born in the wrong body • Sex is observed, not assigned • You cannot change your sex • Lesbians do not have penises • Gay men do not have vaginas • Women don’t have to justify single sex spaces

    If you don't get the difference between Cheryl Hole being on TV today and Lily Savage being on TV in the 90s (or even just the difference between Cheryl Hole & Lily Savage) then you don't understand drag, or what's happened to it and to gay culture, or what's happening to women.

    Gay men can be fathers. They can make fantastic fathers. Nobody is saying gay men can't or shouldn't be fathers. But this should be via adoption, fostering, previous 'relationship' with a woman, co-parenting or similar arrangement. It should not be via renting a woman's body.

    Some numpty on LinkedIn (the chair of an NHS LGBTQ+ Network) is trying to tell me I'm secretly non-binary, because I said I don't have a gender identity. I just AM male. Then he asks "if you were exactly you as you are now, but had been born as female . . ." My response: . . .

    Yesterday, there was a protest opposite Downing Street calling for the conversion therapy ban to include "trans conversion therapy". I was stood a little way away from the actual group of protestors, up towards Trafalgar Square, and was holding the sign in the photo. 1/20

    This morning, we've formally complained to the BBC about I Kissed A Boy (available on BBC3 yesterday). The programme perpetuates harmful ideas that it is possible to change sex and that gay men should accept females pretending to be gay men. It is homophobic conversion therapy.

    TRAs attempted to disrupt our first Brighton event today by getting the venue to cancel our booking. They failed. We just went to a bar around the corner instead. A great afternoon with a great bunch of guys. We're even planning now to start MONTHLY Brighton events.
