    Since we all very busy and don't have much time for reading about politics, here's some handy rules of thumb: 1. Don't vote for parties that very rich people like 2. Don't vote for people with Lord or Sir titles 3. Do vote for a party that the UK press clearly hates.

    #AbolishTheMonarchy trending. Hardly a surprise. But we shld have a serious conversation about growing up in this country. Monarchy and House of Lords, need to go. I know this is difficult because of tradition, but until they go, there is little chance of dealing with unfairness.

    It's quite a cunning plan the British Establishment have cooked up. You spend years working to pay off a mortgage. Banks make loads of money from your mortgage and then the state takes your house so bankers (and other wealthy people) don't have to pay more tax. #socialcare

    "We saved you from Corbyn" they cry. And look what we've got in return for this so-called 'achievement'. The biggest fall in living standards in over 50 yrs, rising poverty, falling life expectancy and no hope in sight. A pox on all your houses - as they say.

    If I didn't like the service I was getting from Yorkshire Water, could I switch to a better company? No. This means that #water is a fake market created by Tories as a scheme for private actors to profit at the expense of regular people. #rawsewage

    I'm finding it difficult to read the news this week. The framing of the Israel-Palestine conflict as if it is taking place between equals, and that Palestinians aren't oppressed under occupation and apartheid, disgusts and scares me.

    But he is your monster. And by your, I mean 99% of journalists one way or another have contributed to a situation that gives rise to the likes of Johnson. If you hadn't been so 'appalled' by Labour's shift to the left and let the right run riot within our democratic institutions.

    Dear god, it gets worse. Johnson's recovery is purportedly due to his 'buoyancy'. The corollary being that the 28000 who died had the wrong attitude. UK leads on victim blaming. Press lead on blatant attempt to to remove the sting of 3rd highest death rates. #Marr

    I lost my friend to suicide. We were living in different countries at the time. I knew she was depressed. One day I stayed off work to ring her. I rang and rang. That was the day she hung herself. I felt so guilty - what if she had answered? But she had it all planned out.
