- Major misstep by CNN, after blanketing Democratic hearings, to blow off Lindsey Graham's opening statement (and Feinstein's) at IG hearing. And MSNBC dipped in and out of Graham. Fuels the criticism that they've taken sides
- It's extremely unusual for a WH to pull a fulltime reporter's credentials. Also unusual for a reporter to refuse to give up the mic after asking several questions.
- Trump comes out for making Daylight Savings Time permanent. I kinda like the idea. The president aside, who favors doing away with the twice-a-year clock hassles?
- MSNBC just debuted its new legal analyst: Lisa Page, who had those embarrassing anti-Trump texts as an FBI agent whose role in the Russia probe came under such harsh scrutiny
- The NY Times is outraged over an effort by Trump allies to dig up public tweets by journalists as a way of embarrassing them. But don't news outlets do the same thing to people in the political world? fxn.ws/2U7NUGD
- Colin Powell, despite being vaxxed, had a weakened immune system from fighting cancer of the white blood cells. So at 84 he was unable to fight off the complications from a breakthrough infection. Let’s not read anything more into it
- Jill Abramson says the NY Times, which she once ran, has become "unmistakably anti-Trump" in its news coverage, some of it infused with "pure opinion" fxn.ws/2LPouK4
- Dilbert creator Scott Adams, a fierce Trump supporter, says POTUS may have lost his vote w/ white supremacist debate answer. “I really feel abused...I feel like he screwed me—personally.” This has gone beyond just the media
- Beto says El Paso shooter was "inspired to kill by our president." That is inflammatory & unfair, even if you can't stand Trump's rhetoric, even if you're a long-shot candidate #DemDebate
