- Hoping to see a strong community push for @Ubiquiti to release self-hosted options for all controller softwares, and remove the reliance on account.ui.com integration for 2FA in UniFi
- Ubiquiti has added the new upcoming Next-Gen Gateway Lite to its website, just not to the store yet. We expect this to be able to be adopted to HostiFi UniFi Controllers, just like the UXG Pro. As soon as it is available, we'll get our hands on to test this out! - 1 Gbps
- Make sure to use Legacy User Interface in UniFi 7.X for site import/export and backup/restore If you import a site in the new user interface it will actually delete all sites and disable multi-site management 😱 Thanks to Safwan on our team for testing it out
- Replying to @HostiFi"I think I overpaid", said Reilly Chase, CEO of HostiFi, "but I wanted to send a message. Every few weeks someone starts a cheaper HostiFi but they're usually out of business by month 3. We'll be here continuing to buy and redirect their expired domain names on month 12. "
- Don't upgrade to #UniFi 6.1.71 if you are using Hotspot Manager, there's a bug that breaks the functionality on all sites other than the Default site. We are skipping this update for our customers.
- We're looking for help from the community to bring these issues to Ubiquiti's attention: • Debian 9 is EOL June 2022 • MongoDB 3.6 has been EOL since April 2021 UniFi does not officially support Debian 10 or MongoDB 4.X yet.
- Umm @LinusTech is using a @Ubiquiti Cloud Key?! HostiFi handles backups, support and more and we don't have database issues 😅
