- Replying to @jacasiegelMy first year as a professor, I was asked out by a student. To which I responded, "But I'm wearing a blazer." I'm not sure why I thought that would put him off.
- My dad read a book that I recommended and then stayed up several nights researching women in the church. He called me this morning to tell me that he's now concluded there is no area of ministry that women should be barred from. 😍🥹 My heart overflows.

- What would Christian churches be like if Sunday school included studying Biblical Hebrew and Greek? What about classes in poetry? Features of story? Church history? If we keep cutting humanities from Christian colleges, we’re cutting the legs out from under the faith.

- You know the world has gone crazy when a Christian, church-going, Bible study leading mom of four, who teaches Great Books (Homer to O'Connor) and classically educates her children is being attacked as dangerous for the church. If I’m dangerous, who is helpful?
- Please pray for my family. I tested positive for Covid. We have 10 days of quarantine. I don’t want my kids to get sick. I worry about my husband being solo dad for that long. And I’m super sad to miss baby’s hugs and snuggles that long!
- Someone needs to open a used bookstore in an airport. Is this a thing? It should be.
