- New Albany senior Romeo Langford has made the final cut and will travel to Cairo, Egypt, as a member of the under-19 USA World Cup Team.
- Indiana State has offered a scholarship to Silver Creek sophomore Kooper Jacobi, per Dragons' coach Brandon Hoffman.

- New Albany freshmen-to-be Tucker Biven has verbally committed to the University of Louisville for baseball, per his family.
- New Albany grad Sean East tells me he's heard from "a ton" of schools since entering the transfer portal. As far as Indiana schools, he's been contacted by Ball State, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indiana State and IUPUI. Thirty-one total schools have contacted him, as of Friday.
- Silver Creek standout Trey Kaufman has been named Gatorade Player of the Year in Indiana. First underclassmen to win Gatorade award as an underclassmen since Lawrence North's Greg Oden did in 2005.
