PSA: Don’t touch baby deer in the wild! We released a small herd of Axis deer on our property in central Texas. This little guy had to be separated from the adults so he would not be trampled in the trailer while they were being transported. I was able to hold and release him.

Why You Shouldn’t Be Outraged By Elephant Hunting? Simple answer: Hunting fights habitat loss and poaching, even in unstable countries. Bans on the importation of “Big 5” species from Africa are as misleading as they are ineffective.

As many of you know; hunting, wildlife conservation, and the protection of wilderness are not something I’ve taken up within the past few years. Rather, it has been a constant in my life that has come to define me.

Hunting is a privilege—not a right—and should be treated as such, with respect, ethics, and legal behavior. Until you prove you are not worthy of it, that privilege is open to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, creed, or any other characteristic.

The number of women who own a gun is on the rise. A recent study from Harvard University shows that 42% of gun owners in the country are women. On a personal note to firearm manufacturers: ...just please don't "Shrink it and pink it!"

It is not 'know your audience,' it should be 'respect your audience.' The online audience is 85% non-hunters. How can we see not to confirm, but see to learn? Look after truth and goodness and beauty will look after herself.

Society prioritizes feelings and emotions over facts. As hunters, we often defend hunting with facts. Maybe when we are discussing hunting, we should communicate our personal truths, feelings, and emotions... the gray area is preferred by society.
