    When Alan Bean returned to Earth as the 4th man to walk on the moon, Mr. Honda honored him with a Honda CB350 motorcycle. Bean then escorted Mr. Honda to the launch of Apollo 15. The two understood The Power of Dreams, a spirit we hope others will be inspired to follow.

    On this day 61 years ago, Honda established our first business operations in America in LA. Today, we have 75 facilities in the U.S., including manufacturing plants, R&D centers, parts centers, and sales, service, and finance operations. Happy Birthday, Honda in America!
