    Good news! We had reports of a dog on M60, we found a member of the public on CCTV walking the dog on the hard shoulder. Turned out they had seen the dog and managed to get hold of it, Our officer Ben took the dog and with help from @NWmwaypolice we reunited Suki with her family.

    Traffic is currently stopped in both directions on the #M62 between #J12 #EcclesInterchange and #J11 #Birchwood due to four pigs which have wandered onto the grass verge in an attempt to hog a lane. Traffic Officers are on scene. @NWmwaypolice @manchesterfire @NWAmbulance

    We're opening permanent extra lanes on the #M62 near Rochdale (j18-20) tonight (eastbound) and tomorrow night (westbound). We're also removing roadworks from the #M60 near the @intuTrafford Centre (j8-10) and the new electronic smart motorway signs are being switched on.

    A reminder to those who won't have seen the Tweets issued in the early hours of this morning that the M62 across Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire has fully reopened between J20-J22 (east) and J24-J21 (west). Many thanks for your patience during this closure.

    The #M6 in both directions #J33 (#Galgate) to #J32 (#BroughtonInterchange) has now been REOPENED following the bridge removal works. Maintenance crews have worked continuously to get the #M6 open 2 days ahead of schedule! #WeAreWorkingForYou

    BRIDGE REPAIRS COMPLETE following a lorry colliding with the bridge support yesterday #M6 #Lancashire southbound btwn J33 #Galgate + J32 (#M55). The road is NOW OPEN, many thanks to our contractors, @NWmwaypolice @LancashireFRS @HighwaysNWEST @NWAmbulance for all their hard work.

    North West patrols on the #M58 eastbound at #J4 #Glenburn attended reports of an abandoned vehicle on the hard shoulder earlier. The owner could not be traced and so this taxi will now been removed from the network under #TrafficOfficer powers. #KeepBritianTidy
