    For the drivers currently ignoring our lane closure Red X signals which we set on the motorway, you may be interested to know that new legislation means that these drivers will receive a £100 fine and 3 penalty points on their driving license #RedXMeansLanesClosed

    If you're heading to @wembleystadium for this evening's game (KO 17:30) between @SpursOfficial and @ChelseaFC there are currently no incidents on the key routes including #M1 #M3 #M4 & #M25. Delays are increasing #M4 #GreaterLondon but this is expected. @HighwaysEngland

    The #M25 is BLOCKED clockwise between J18 and J19 due a flock of around 30 ducks waddling down the hard shoulder and onto the carriageway! We're trying to get them safely of the network as quickly as we can. Delays of an hour on approach.

    This driver decided to go through a closed area of the road and collided with one of our trucks. This is highly dangerous and a #HighwayCode offence. The driver was prosecuted, fined and got 3 points on their licence. 📣Slow down and follow the signs when you drive in roadworks

    Fans heading to @wembleystadium for the #ChampionsLeague game between @SpursOfficial and @Inter_en, severe delays on the #M25 heading clockwise between J16 - J17 due to a collision that has closed 2 lanes. Allow additional time or consider alternative routes

    Fans heading to @wembleystadium for the game between @SpursOfficial & @SouthamptonFC all main routes currently remain clear of incidents however, delays continue to build on the #M25 clockwise between J13 and J17 (#Heathrow, #Watford). Please allow for additional journey time.

    The #QEIIBridge at #DartfordCrossing is now fully open. Long Delays remain on the #M25 clockwise and anti-clockwise but these should start to ease now

    Unfortunately the ducks have made it back down onto the carriageway, and we've had to hold traffic on the #M25 clockwise between J18 and J19. We're working to get them back to safety again!

    If travelling to @wembleystadium for @SpursOfficial vs @CardiffCityFC pls be aware there is approx 20 mins delay #M4 #GreaterLondon btwn J3 - J2. All other key routes remain clear #M25 #M40 #M1 #M11 and #A1. Safe travels this afternoon #staysafestayback #TOTCAR @HighwaysEngland.
