    Add on to this that 6 innocent Kurdish community activists were snatched from their homes in London & have been put on trial in the Old Bailey for 'terrorism' simply to grease this grubby deal and this surely must make this one of the most dirty blood stained deals in the history

    Yaşar Güler, who yesterday signed an arms deal with the UK for 20 Eurofighter Typhoon warplanes, was the same Turkish General who gave the order to bomb and kill 34 Kurdish civilians (19 children) in Roboski in 2011. Bombed and killed by F16 war planes. #Turkiye #UK #ArmsDeal

    A young Kurdish mother is sent to jail in Turkey with her 2 year old daughter & 10 day old baby. She has applied to authorities to name her baby, Omêdya, which means 'hope' in Zazaki, Kurdish dialect. Such a beautiful name in such an ugly situation. I love Omêdya. #Justice4Kurds

    A KURDISH MOTHER lost her husband & 2 sons, killed by AKP MP's party members in Urfa. Why were they killed? Because when he came into their shop they told him they were not voting for AKP but that they were voting for HDP! Justice for the Şenyaşar family! #ŞenyaşarAilesineAdalet

    The Lausanne Treaty, signed 24th July 1923, signed the fate of Kurdish people inside #Turkey, despite #Kurds helping to win the War of Independence. Such treachery will never be forgotten. As we near the 100th anniversary the world should recognise this #LausanneFailure

    Kurdish is an ancient language of the Indo European branch it is said to be thousands of years old. Turkey has systematically tried to eradicate this rich & historical language. We ask that @duolingo help to preserve Kurdish by adding to their list of courses. #KurdishOnDuolingo

    Farzad Kamanger a Kurdish teacher, poet, human rights activist, journalist. Arrested by Iranian regime forces in Tehran in August 2006, & sentenced to death on June 6, 2007 for collaborating with Kurdish parties. He was executed on 9/5/2010 by the regime. #IranOppressesKurds
