No, the masks are based upon real science, with constant evidence of the protection they offer. But right-wingers who don't want reality to be as it is always deny science, which is why they deny climate science too.

If you want to look to 1965, Republicans were promoting abortion, indeed, Nixon is famous for trying to have it used as a way to deal with Africa and African Americans. So, we must assume Republicans are pro-abortion?- Remember when you used to write against dark lords? What changed?
