    We don't pay our players and survive by goodwill, generosity of people's time & a little gate money. We had an average crowd of 52 last season. Right now, they could stand SIX metres apart at our ground & still all fit in. But they're not allowed. That's ridiculous. #letfansin

    With all the rain yesterday, our game v @BrislingtonFC was postponed, meaning we had 25 Easter Eggs left. Not any more, they’ve all gone..... ...to the emergency department at Bristol Children’s Hospital!! Hope the poorly kids enjoy a little happiness this Easter!

    Hengrove Athletic was formed in 1948 from players that were demobbed after National Service. Football shirts were difficult to get hold of so each player's family donated a plain white shirt & one mother dyed them all green in the bath at her Knowle home. We will never forget!

    Continuing our introduction to our 2020/21 @TSWesternLeague first team squad.. First up is @luke_crewe . 31 next month but still as fit as he was "back in the day". One of the highest scoring full backs around, a mean set piece taker & even has an FA Cup hat trick to his name!
