- Pending MLB agreement reportedly includes DH in NL for both 2020 and 2021. Then comes new CBA which almost certainly will include it. So, NL is a DH league now.

- MLB, MLBPAA announce changes in Joint Drug Program, an appropriate title since marijuana is being removed from list of drugs of abuse. A key part is the testing for opioids, a result of the death of Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs.
- It was OK for Juwan Howard to full court press UW scrubs down by 15 at end of game but apparently not OK for UW to call TO. So, time to fight.
- The time has come. After 36 years of covering #Brewers and baseball for @journalsentinel, I am announcing my retirement. The plan is to stay on job through Feb. or thereabouts. Will post more info on Facebook in a bit but am very grateful to have had this long, rewarding career.

- Just saw replay by Machado at 1B. A total punk move, with possibility of injuring the other player. The intent is very easy to see. Let's see if MLB has the guts to fine him.
