Claudia, do you even own a calculator? 3% of £620bn is £18.6bn, not £40bn. And the NHS costs ~£178bn a year, your fantasy £40bn wouldn’t even keep the lights on for 3 months. You’re loudly broadcasting how little you understand basic arithmetic, economics, or reality.
There are 156 billionaires in the UK with a total wealth of £620 billion. Redistributing their wealth over £10ml at just 3% would raise almost £40 billion - enough to fully fund the NHS
Tax the billionaires.

The OPs claim is wrong. A 3% tax on the £620Bn assets of UK Billionaires would raise £18.5Bn not £49Bn. The annual UK Health budget is £212Bn so the proposed wealth tax would raise 8.7% of the NHS budget and not fully fund it

Extremely saddened at the news of James Brokenshire’s tragic and early passing.
James attended the Iftar with Grenfell families and victims and stayed right till the end. His kindness, humility and compassion will remain in many hearts. Thoughts are with James’ family and wife.
So first it was ‘£40bn fully funds the NHS,’ now it’s ‘ok actually it’s just 13–16% extra.’ Which is it, Claudia? You can’t even keep your own point straight. FYI, 3% of £620bn is £18.6bn, not £40bn. If you can’t handle year 9 math, maybe stop pretending you’ve solved NHS funding
