- The Social Science Research Council Announces Edward Glaeser as the recipient of the 2022 Albert O. Hirschman Prize. Prof Glaeser will be presenting the Hirschman Lecture, “The Connecting Machine: Cities in the Rich and Poor World”, at the Institute for Advanced Study on 12/7/22.
- Paul Samuelson was the first American to win the @nobelprize in Economics. He received his PhD from @HarvardEcon in 1941.
