- Pay the fine for storming the field? That’s a no-brainer for a president…who’s retired! So proud of these Gamecocks who never quit. How about next week?!

- Patricia and I are adjusting to life post-presidency and it’s going well...but being away during this weekend that features Hootie and the Blowfish and a game against the Crimson Tide is a real challenge. Go Gamecocks, this weekend, always and forever.
- I’ve paid a fine for storming the court after beating Kentucky before, but this time it was free for me so I joined the crowd! Best students anywhere!
- Still trying to compose myself from yesterday’s big upset but it’s not working. HUGE CONGRATS to the team that wouldn’t quit. There are no second or third string players on this team. Can’t wait for the rest of the season...everything is possible. Gamecocks forever.
- How can a team come up short and still be a winner?The USC MBB team just showed us how. Thank you for this sweet ride and this vital lesson.
- I saw the Gamecocks beat #1 Alabama in football; I saw two National Championship Baseball victories. Tonight’s come-from-behind WBB victory against Stanford now ranks among my all time favorite athletic victories! Gooooooo Gamecocks!

- Gamecock football beats Auburn for the first time since 1933. That was the year that the Great Depression ended. Now another one has! So proud of our resilience and unselfish play. 🏦🏈
- Our LSU friends helped us when Columbia suffered its horrific floods. Now it’s our turn to assist. We will do all we can once their needs are known. Standing by @WFTate4 and his new LSU family.
