Alabama is Going to The Final Four!
Join in another episode of The Double Dribble Podcast to hear my thoughts and reaction to Alabama’s win over Clemson, and why I think Alabama can give UConn a good game.
🔗:
Alabama is literally an EVERYTHING school.
In 2021:
-Football won a playoff game and the national championship.
-Men’s basketball is 12-2 and a projected 2 seed.
-Women’s basketball is a projected 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
-Baseball is 3-0
-Softball is 8-0
BREAKING:
All-American PG Mark Sears has decided to withdraw his name from the NBA Draft and will use his final year of eligibility at Alabama.
The Crimson Tide will arguably have the best roster in the country and should be preseason #1.
Huge news.
According to KenPom:
Alabama has now played the 2nd toughest overall adjusted schedule in the country and the toughest adjusted offensive schedule in the country.
If this is the last game for Mark Sears and Grant Nelson.
What incredible performances to end your career on in the Final Four.
Mark Sears with 24 points.
Grant Nelson with 19 points and 15 boards.

It's no secret that Alabama is a huge underdog (11.5 points) to UCONN. The Huskies have been steamrolling teams in the NCAAT.
I've mentioned it before with UNC, Clemson, and Grand Canyon, but who has UCONN faced that is similar to Alabama and how did they fare? (THREAD)
People think Alabama “Live and Die by the 3” for whatever reason.
What people fail to realize is that Alabama is 2nd in the country in 2 point FG% at 61%.
They have also taken 100 more 2 point attempts this season than 3 point attempts.
Find a different narrative.
BREAKING:
Grant Nelson will not declare for the NBA Draft and will use his final year of college eligibility at Alabama.
The soon-to-be 5th year senior averaged 12 ppg and 6 rebounds while playing out of position majority of the year.
Huge news for the Tide.
Please stop with the Bama should’ve gotten in over TCU.
Did Bama deserve it? No.
Did TCU deserve it? Yes.
Is TCU better than Alabama? No.
Both can be true and the committee got it right at the same time. Georgia is just that good.
When Nate Oats arrived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama had only made the NCAA Tournament twice in the previous 14 years.
In the 4 years since Nate Oats took over, they’ve made the NCAAT going on 3 times, won the SEC and SECT, currently 12-0 in the SEC, and now a #1 ranking.
Remarkable.
5⭐️ #1 PG in the country JD Davison has committed to Alabama. This is the biggest commitment for Nate Oats since he became head coach. JD is the best high school player I’ve ever seen from the state of Alabama. HUGE.
