- Now I have emailed parents, staff and governors ... I am delighted to announce our new school doggy to the world ... no name yet... but here he is!!! #schooldog
- Woodies parents - please see your inboxes. Our governors have made the decision to put the safety of children and staff first and only open to key worker children until further notice - despite the ambition of the government. The rationale for this is in your emailed letter. ❤️
- A few myths to dispel: 1. Teachers are not paid for the holidays. You read that right, teachers are not paid for the holidays. They could be classed as TOIL for the unpaid overtime they routinely do, but actually they are just not paid (despite many working, prepping etc.).
- When your staff say they want a school dog, and you go all out for a school dog ...
- Having a cry in your office is ok, right? 🤷♀️🤔
- 🌟 Amazing News! 🌟 Today we received the most incredible news - Tom has been given the ALL CLEAR from his oncologist! 🙌💖
- Anyone feeling stressed in a school setting just now, it’s not just you. Anyone getting complaints about stuff that catch you totally by surprise, again, not on your own. Anyone without a big team to pick them up when govt and others are kicking them - DM. I will be your team 🙂
- Head in hands moment: as a direct result of (add your own descriptions here) ..... leadership from the government and DfE, I have spent the last 3 days trying to do my job, again, during my so called ‘holiday’ and still, even tonight, I do not know what is happening next week 😡
- Why is the PM writing a letter to every household? 🤷♀️ waste of resources, puts postal delivery people at further risk and who needs it? Tweet? FB? Instagram? And is his message that vital? Maybe I am wrong. Spend the money on tests? Masks? 🤷♀️
- Well, it’s not a champagne flute, nor is it my best crystal - but given that I am just in after a 7 hour return journey, pjs on, only to open a letter with the best ever results from the biopsies I have had - a little champagne in an Asda glass is all good. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
- I have been inundated and overwhelmed by the most lovely messages - nearly 600. Please forgive me as I go through each one. I am without words tonight. My smile says it all. I am blessed, proud and privileged to serve others and continue both in education and the army reserves 🙏
