    We want to wish longtime HNIB staffer Kevin Doyle well as he is being treated for a recent diagnosis of leukemia. He will still contribute to HNIB News during this time but on a limited basis. We look forward to having Kevin back soon in his full capacity. Get well soon Kevin!

    We are saddened to report that longtime HNIB writer/employee Kevin Doyle has passed away. A former sports editor at the Newburyport News, Kevin covered the Mass/NE HS hockey scene for us for over 30 years. A great writer and even better person. RIP to a great friend.
