- And as a result, just like CP, she has been not so subtlety pushed out of the USWNT. She was one of the first people to stand up for what she believed in.Another woman of color sacrificing everything to address issues that affect everyone. Shouldn’t be the norm but here we are.Syd Leroux has fought the system the entire time she has been playing…including both the Canadian & US national team systems & the NWSL. And she’s still fighting for others around the league. I’m just frustrated she’s still having to fight.
- I will say though, Jordan Nobbs is getting consistent minutes and she is doing so much with them. Sometimes a player just needs a chance and someone to believe in them and I’m so happy she found that.
