    Awesome moment tonight: @JayCoPatriots boys 🏀 manager Luke Vormohr hits two 3s and finishes with 8 points in the Patriots final home game of the season. Curtain call after starting the game. Great support in the Patriots gym, with the student section chanting “We want Luke!”

    FINAL: Yorktown 42, Norwell 41. One of the crazier games I’ve ever seen at any level. Back and forth, big plays, clutch moments. Tigers get their first sectional title since 2014.

    Legendary Wapahani ⚾️ coach Brian Dudley (@BdudleyBrian) has retired after 40 years. He compiled a 828-320 record with 18 sectional, 13 county, 8 regional, 3 semistate and 1 state titles. Truly one of the most impressive and dedicated individuals I’ve had the pleasure to cover.

    This my last week at The Star Press. After over 2 years in Muncie, I've worked with and covered too many great people to name here, but thank you to everyone who's helped me along the way. I'm appreciative of those who supported my work as well. It means a lot and I'll miss it.

    Wapahani 🏐 has done it. Raiders win Set 4 25-8 to win the IHSAA Class 2A state championship. Remarkable performance for the group after 3 years of coming up just short. @WHSRaiderVBALL

    Ball State men’s 🏀 held its Media Day this morning. The big surprise: the team’s new red uniform tops arrived just as it started, prompting an unplanned team photo in the redesigned threads. Classic design and throwback Dancing Charlie logo on the shorts. Very nice IMO

    Ball State head coach Michael Lewis got emotional at the end of his press conference when asked about what he’d say to the fans for their support this season. He’s really happy with the growth of crowds and Cardinal pride. That was cool to see.

    It took 18 years and over 600 wins with Ball State for head coach @CoachMaloney to finally win the MAC tournament. He thought it'd happen last year, but the Cardinals lost 2 straight title games. It was the missing piece of his resume. Not anymore.
