- Replying to @MadiHillyAnyone still concerned that the casks might leak should watch this test of a train hitting a cask at 100mph in which the cask suffers no critical damage. Can’t say the same for the train though.. youtu.be/ZY446h4pZdc
- Replying to @KerrickDuchy and @steakgenderiveIt’s not. You’re imagining a team like the Cavs going on an improbably lucky run and thinking that won’t continue. But if all you know about a team is they start 65-0 then they are almost certainly by far the best team in history and closing out the last 17 games is possible.
- I am beyond grateful this woman chose me to build our family with, and that she is doing such important work to secure our children's future. Our daughter is so blessed to have such an amazing mother who understands the nature of nuclear power and accordingly advocates for it.No babies received any excess radiation in the making of this nuclear waste maternity photoshoot
- Replying to @OrmeStephan @GreatDecoupling and @MadiHillyFrom the LA Times earlier this week: "Only about $2 to $4 worth of materials are recovered from each panel. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory estimated that it costs roughly $20 to $30 to recycle a panel versus $1 to $2 to send it to a landfill." latimes.com/business/story…

- Nuclear waste is often discussed in terms of generational equity. As Madi shows in this piece, there is no better gift to give to future generations than safe cask-stored spent nuclear fuel and the power plants that produced them. And yes, we’re expecting 🥳“As a young person in my 20s expecting a child this year, I feel very comfortable with the way we manage nuclear waste, with making more of it and with passing this responsibility onto our kids.” My latest, in @nytimes: nytimes.com/2023/04/28/opi…
- Here’s a screenshot that actually shows his hand, seems pretty clearly not black to me
- Replying to @shaggysurvivesIf ever there was a work of art that Peter Griffin's "It insists upon itself" applies to it was that book
- Replying to @GriffinHillyYou want to bring Chicago home? Upzone the city. All SFH neighborhoods go to 3 stories, 3 stories to 5 stories and anywhere within 1/4 mile of a train stop has no limit to building height.
- Replying to @sporadicaWent to the bathroom 30min into our first date, looked at myself in the mirror and thought "I think that's my wife out there"
