    A 92% was not acceptable. As a Japanese-American I was expected by family & ancestors to do better. I had to reflect on my shortcomings & come up with ideas on how I could do better. Once in 4th grade I even walked to teacher’s house to ask for makeup work to improve my grade! 👀
