This is insane. Click the thread and look at the other videos. The driver said he did it on Gamecube and didn't know if it would work in real life. I guess we know now.

Right now the UK feels like a city builder game where you’ve totally screwed everything up and are out of key resources like food and energy and there are flashing symbols on all your buildings.

My biggest tip for success on Steam is to release your game before 2018. Good luck!

Ways I have messed up my indie career: - Not starting with lots of money - Not living in North America - Not living in London - Not making something trendy - Personal failings (won't fit in a tweet) What does your list look like?

I must seem like some weird ancient Dark Souls boss to our cat because: - I’m 40x older than her - I’m massive compared to her - I am a weird shape and have both freakish long hair and bare skin. - I groan when I move around. - her attacks have minimal affect on my health bar

I’m going to start leaving random audio logs about the place for futuristic survivors so they can gradually piece together what went wrong.

Me: "I make videogames" Rando: "Oh interesting - anything I'll have heard of?" Me: "Er, no, probably not" Such is the lot of the indie dev.

I have noticed a thing where some people say "I really liked this game, but it's not very replayable so I'll rate it negatively". I think that's a shame. I get where they are coming from but not every game is designed to be played for 100s of hours. Just play, enjoy, move on.

Son texted me on the way home to tell me he got an A* for his Computer Science mock exam. Hopefully he can find his own way home.
