Ferris St. DeShaun Thrower's performance last night is one for the ages. Not only did he score 35 points but he did so as he also prepares to be a major part of the football team that is in the D. II football playoffs. A truly unbelievable performance by a special athlete!!

Argue all you want about if Bellarmine belongs in the Big Dance, but one thing that is certain being it is only their 2nd year in Div. I, Midwest Region D. II basketball is high level hoops on par, if not better than, many mid-major conferences.

If Kevin Luke is not in every college basketball hall of fame within the next 5 years, you really dont have much of a hall of fame. Congrats Coach Luke on an outstanding career and best of luck in your retirement.

EXHIBITION GAME FINAL SCORE Michigan Tech 70 Ball St. 69 Congrats to Coach Buettner on his first victory (although it won't count in records). Huskies become 2nd Midwest Region team to knock off a D. I school in an exhibition game.
Huskies defeat D1 Ball State in Coach Buettner's exhibition debut. What a finish. Cardinals tied it after trailing by 17 pts. in the 2nd half. Owen White made 2 MASSIVE free throws late and Tech survives for the W!
