00:00girl from that janken arcade game youtube kept recommending me- RIP Shichiro Kobayashi. From Takarajima to Remi to Utena, man can paint a gorgeous background in every anime he's ever worked on.
- Incredible cartoon that i have been watching recently.
- The Trigun anime is great but that one episode where they straight up just a love letter Todd Macfarlane/Spawn really made me wish the whole show was filled with those kind of visuals.
- I think alot about how good the models in Project Justice looked.
- incredibly sad Uekawa artwork is no longer used for games but now just for merchandise and website calenders This stuff is way too good compared to the bland 3D renders they've been using for the past decade
- Japanese companies tend be very private on many things, so it’s interesting to see ex-Sega Alumi state all the shit Sega management put them through years later.
- Follows that philosophy Anno and Ikuhara brought up in the CCA book with using Yaz cartoony designs, known for being children’s shows, in a series about war makes for a more memorable visual.>hire Pokémon character designer to design your show characters >it sells like hot pancakes it's that easy huh.... should've done it like decades ago
- Remasters love replacing gourard shading with phong shading for no reason at allhow ps2 games look running on original hardware vs how they look on running on the “super cool hd remaster” version of the game
- Its well known by now that Ken Sugimori of Pokemon fame is a big fan of Phantasy Star however whats never brought up was the rumored Phantasy Star game by Game Freak .
