Oh come on BBC Scotland, for heaven’s sake get @mstewart_23 back on air. He’s bright, he’s engaging, he’s intelligent, he’s different. All he did was speak the truth, albeit passionately. Your radio and Sportscene coverage is much reduced without him.

How desperate must Jim Traynor be to produce this wafting resentment? On the fate of a 12 year old boy? And, believe me, it is Jim, from the tortured syntax and sheer ineptitude with punctuation.

Rangers FC referring to the 'shameful sectarian hatred' of other fans surely qualifies as the most ironic thing you'll ever see in football.

So I sauntered into the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh this morning to enquire about a room. “How much is a one-night stop?” I ask. Guy checks his screen. “We do have a room sir, it’s £925 per night. “With breakfast?” I ask. “No, without. With is £975.” I went off to think about it.

This is a most pleasing sight on Sportscene. Welcome back Mikey.

That is one of the greatest Celtic performances I have ever witnessed. This is the Champions League, the elite of Europe, against a team as good as RB Leipzig. What a performance and win at Celtic Park, urged on by a passionate support. Cel 3-1 RBL

Beyond dispute, that was one of the all-time great performances by a Scottish club in Europe. Brendan Rodgers and Celtic within 15 seconds of taking Bayern Munich into the extra 30 minutes. Physically, tactically and strategically, Celtic were magnificent. BM 1-1 CEL

What Rangers FC could do with a young, modern, creative PR guru instead of an old blowhard 40 years in the business harbouring deep-seated grudges against sections of the media. A disaster.

From my humble corner here I’m totally with @GaryLineker. His feelings for the atrocities in Gaza are genuine. His bravery in speaking out is impressive. And the worst bit of all - that if you oppose Israel’s military response then you are somehow an anti-Semite - in the case of

At Celtic Park “I have heard my people cry…” RIP Bertie Auld.

I bet I can speak for just about every football writer in Scotland when I say we’ve found Neil Lennon engaging, articulate, witty and self-deprecating over many years. Imagine a poor moron filming Lennon drunk, and abusing and goading him. The utter tragedy of social media today.

Many Rangers fans exercised and excited on here re this Celtic Boys Club tragedy. What a spectacle it is: the worst expression of transparent glee and oneupmanship I think I’ll ever see in football. Over child sex abuse.

Tomorrow’s back page in The Times. Alastair Johnston believes any Celtic 2020 title triumph might require “an asterisk”. If I was a Rangers director I think I’d keep mum on titles that require “an asterisk”...😂

This is 2025. How much more does Rangers FC have to do to beg its fans to stop acting like bigots. The utter embarrassment of this…
