.@realDonaldTrump, Please stop injecting yourself into crises. Don’t try to tell governors what to do. Instead of calling for calm & for the nation to unite, you were sequestered in the White House basement & silent. Governors and mayors, on the other hand, were actively (1/5)

This #President is now truly getting out of control. In talking about “liberating” the states, he is using language that could well lead to rioting. No one has done more to undermine our constitution and destroy our country’s values than @realDonaldTrump.

The 140 representatives & 10 senators who are going to refuse to validate the electors from states Trump lost are not only violating their oaths of office, but actively encouraging a coup. There must be some legal penalty for their actions. bloomberg.com/news/articles/… via @bpolitics

.@realDonaldTrump’s irresponsibility is shocking.Leaving 1 of the best hospitals, having received drugs the average person doesn’t have access to, going home w/ full medical staff, he has the audacity to say don’t fear #COVID19 & he feels better than ever? THIS is our President?!

.@realDonaldTrump is once again attempting to abuse the power of his office to undermine democracy. Each time this President makes a statement that has to be walked back, we have a glimpse of exactly what he really means. The right to choose our own leaders through free and (1/3

I will not stand for #Republicans sharing “behind closed doors” their disagreement with this administration anymore. Speak up publicly or you are complicit. @RsAndIs4Biden

The #Republican push to release the #NunesMemo, without also releasing the Democrat counter memo and without letting the DOJ review it first, speaks to the need for the new #taskforce that @PreetBharara and I announced today in @USATODAY. Rule of law matters.

405,399 Americans died in WWII to protect the freedom of speech. Between March & October 1933, Nazis burned 25,000 books to restrict ideas. Now, in Tennessee, where libraries are removing books, a local legislator has suggested burning the literature. Have we learned nothing?

To say that they believe that @realDonaldTrump did ask for foreign interference in our domestic elections and not need to hear more and yet refuse to vote for removal because they like his policies is mind boggling. They argued on the floor of the #Senate that the #Democrat (1/4)
