    I am extremely excited to announce that I will become Chair of the Molecular and Cellular Biology department of @bcmhouston as of October 1. Fantastic department that I hope to grow and diversify into multiple areas of basic science. Will be recruiting (more soon)! #cellbiology

    We are all walking mosaics of genetically distinct cells. Every cell acquires around one mutation each division after fertilization, resulting in a vast amount of genetic diversity across all the cells in our bodies by the time we are born.
