Med-balls can have an enormously positive impact on your throwing. Here is a progression I use with my pitchers, that can also be used with position guys. This progression helps with hip to shoulder separation, kinetic sequencing, athleticism, and energy transfer @FlatgroundApp

Little moments like this mean the world to me. We are getting closer to playing a real game a catch. Proud dad moment! #baseballdad

Since moving back to Pittsburg Coach V has been nothing short of a mentor. No one gets far in life by themselves and I’m no exception. I’ve been very lucky to have many wonderful people guide me along the way and his man is one of them. Thank you for everything Coach V.

Ground throws: Med-balls are a huge part to our mound work around here, especially in the winter time when arms are shut down or building back to throwing. Ground throws are especially important during this time of year Continued⬇️ @FlatgroundApp

This has to be one of the coolest things about our facility here at Pitt State. The ability to get this overhead camera view for medball and plyoball work assessment is immensely helpful. We see some great positions in the video below… Continued ⬇️ @FlatgroundApp

Here is a slant progression I use with guys that over stride and don’t understand how to load and ride the pelvis through their delivery. You can use this progression with medballs, rackets, or any other modalities to help body awareness and more efficient patterns @FlatgroundApp

Mini mounds: easy to make, and a multitude of applications ✅ med ball work ✅ front leg stability work ✅patterning the hinge ✅ controlling the height in which guys throw from: less stress on the arm with all the advantages of throwing down hill! @FlatgroundApp

Added a couple of small plastic boxes to our plyo-wall. They are placed arm side and eye level to keep the pitchers from basically dart throwing the ball in front of them. You’ll know this is a problem if you notice your ball cutting during your catch play. @FlatgroundApp

One of the coolest pics I’ve received. Two guys I coached playing pro ball together. D2 guy and a D3 guy. Prime example that it doesn’t matter where you go. Work you’re ass off, go where you have the opportunity to compete and you’ll never regret your decision. Keep grinding!
