Dearest Friends, yes, it is me tweeting, not K. There's no easy way to say this. I passed out of this life today. My heart and lungs catastrophically failed, and I told K to "do it." It was my terms. I physically left this world comfortably.

- Everyone, send your prayers and good thoughts to Surfer… He has a gas colic this morning. Likely caused by the heatwave. K is on the phone with the ranch manager to talk it through together… Prayers please…
- I raced until I was 6. Jumped until I was 22. Lived a full, pasture life until I was 27 and crossed over peacefully to the next realm. All thoroughbred race horses deserve the same. A human to love them and a pasture to call home.
- This morning, my Godkids arrived @rresoluteracing .. Midway, KY paradise as close to heaven as we can imagine… Nileist disembarking..
- I was bred to race. I raced 12 times. I won once. I made $5889. I was injured. I had nowhere to go. I found a home. I was lucky. I lived to age 27. I passed in my pasture with my human at my side. Not all of us are so lucky. Yet we are all priceless.

- Our babe Surfer is continuing to eat and poop! Please keep your prayers coming!
- Worst day in awhile. The new farrier carelessly cut into Nileist’s white line. Nileist is now lame. K put on my cushioned boot and gave him 2 grams of bute per vet’s instructions. We fired the farrier before he touched any of the rest of us. K is livid.
- Today has been harder for K than she thought it would be. It's been 4 years since I physically left her & all of you. I know she uses everything I taught her to make many horses' lives better & more fulfilled. But she hugged my urn & cried so hard that she misses me so.
- It was a wonderful Sunday morning for the horses at Resolute Farm. Surfer in the background..
- It is with great sorrow and emotion that K and J announce the passing of Mom D, peacefully, tonight at 8:38 pm. This is she and K on March 31 of this year. Myself, Smoothie, DV and Suki will get her situated up here….
