- Our PGA Professional of the Year Award goes to the professional whose total contributions to the game best exemplify the complete PGA golf professional. Gene Siller of Pinetree Country Club was just that.
- The Georgia PGA family is saddened to hear about the passing of PGA Life Member, Jack Lumpkin. His 60 years of dedication to the PGA and to his students will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to the Lumpkin Family and our Sea Island Family.
