- Replying to @vogontheaterThe best explanation I ever read was The Shining was largely biographical and King wrote it, in a sense, to free himself from his burdens. He saw himself as victim of his addictions. OTOH, Kubrick saw the protagonist as psychotic and largely to blame. King didnโt appreciate that.
- Unpopular Zach Lowe opinion; him getting canned is a good thing. Ya it sucks for him right now and he deserves better. But ESPN is abominable and doesn't deserve him. He loves the NBA and is elite at covering it. He'll find a place to cover the league. And ESPN will be worse off.

- After eliminating Boston in 6, every single Florida Panther took a moment to show their respect for Jeremy Swayman, who was unbelievable this series & the entire postseason. The post-series handshake line tradition in hockey is always really cool, but this one felt extra special.

- Replying to @sethsfilmreviewSaw this the day after it opened. When I bought my ticket the movie theater employee said, "You're the first person to buy a ticket to this movie here. It got zero views last night. More like MegaFLOPolis am I right?" Needless to say that was the peak of the experience for me.
