The most awkward convo in the office today.
Two colleagues said they were ‘horrified’ at the women cheering and jumping up and down outside the Supreme Court yesterday.
I jumped in and said I thought the ruling was positive and provided much needed clarity.

- Replying to @GayGordon84Intersex was brought up at that point and TBH, I gave up and left the conversation. It wasn’t worth it in a busy office. But I was really disappointed with colleague 1. I thought she’d have been more critical than to spout segregation’. 🙄 3/3
- I’d rather be Julie. In a world where you can be Jeremy or Julie, be Jeremy.
- They ‘did a bad fing’ ??? Kidnap, rape, murder and massacre is a (baby voice) ‘bad fing’. No. Dawn. You are repugnant.
- Replying to @GayGordon84Colleague 1 said she was worried about ‘segregation’ Colleague 2 said he felt it was unnecessary to separate TW from women. I asked what they thought about sport and prisons. 2/3
- My home town is holding a Trans Only Swimming session... ... for years 7 and up. That's 11 year olds.
- Heterosexual females will never be gay men
- A colleague and I had a small win at work. I posted about the 🦗/homophobia at the @AllianceLGB conference and how silencing LGB people should not be tolerated.
- Replying to @GayGordon84Somebody replied the @AllianceLGB are transphobic and that’s why the attack happened. A complaint was made that not only did they have to delete their post, but myself and a colleague got an apology!
- Replying to @BevJacksonAuthI’m in a position where I am being a noisy as possible. A colleague and I have set up an LGB group (albeit a sub group of the staff LGBT+ group). This ended up with us having to have a meeting with HR and some disgruntled TRAs and TQ+’s. We got our way.
- That sucks. It really does. My work conversation didn’t get that deep. I work in a very woke environment, it’s to be expected really. Baby steps.
- I very much doubt @KemiBadenoch will see this post but I’d like her to know that her rhetoric has not made me feel any less safe at all. Well done Kemi. @RhonddaBryant Kemi is standing up for gay people. You’d do well to listen.
