From happier times, praying that my brother Marty can have days like this again. He’s not doing well at all. Hard for me to accept those days might not ever come back .

I was hoping 2020 would be a better year than 2019. But my Mother is in the hospital now, that’s not what I was hoping for in this new year, I pray she’s ok and gets out soon.

I think my Mom is looking at the TV and the basketball game, just like I was on this rare night out. My Mom doesn’t get out much these days, she’ll be 99 later this year. We didn’t have room for dessert after this meal.

About to start my 28 hour trip to Italy. That’s long. I’ll be happy when I arrive at my hotel on Sunday . I’ll also be happy with my first pizza and pasta in Rome. And Gelato.
Getting surgery in the morning on a herniated disc and pinched nerve. I’m looking forward to waking up when it’s done and not feeling this unbearable pain anymore.
