    Having learnt to walk, talk, hold a pen, dress myself. After 4 of the most challenging years of my life, I have been discharged from Salford Royal Hospital. I will always have a brain injury but learned to live with it and make it a part of everyday life. Onwards and upwards.

    Six years ago today I was what can only be described as a very, very lucky boy after I was attacked in London. But I'm still here, thanks to some pretty amazing staff and some pretty amazing people, particularly my wife Gemma. Time to celebrate.
