- There was once a time that 100% of “travel ball” players were elite. It used to be a privilege, not a right.
- Can we all get onboard with the fact that athletic shorts without pockets are useless?
- Day 1 on the job, and I’ve already found the best help. Thank you @aikenhighschool and @AHS_Hornets1 for the opportunity of a lifetime. I don’t even have words for describing this moment. I’m so happy to call this place home! GO HORNETS!
- Bakich made it 11 more innings than I would have.
- Pet peeve: Why are players so anxious to get out of their pants and/or jerseys so quickly after games? You only get to put that stuff on so many times in this lifetime. Why rush it? One day, you’ll wish you could put them back on.
- Why do I pick up random trash in the hallways? I like to think my parents did a good job of raising me…but I’d also like to win a state title one day. Every little thing counts
- Thank you all SO MUCH for your kind words! This accomplishment is nothing short of all of the sacrifices made for me in my 33 years by a # of people. The grace of God is wonderful. To all that shaped me, I’ll be forever indebted to you!
- Love emails that say “Best D2 Prospects Available...”. Sorry, but our “D2 Prospects” would Smoke some of the “D1 Prospects” on “D1 Teams.” Bet our starting rotation of “D2 Prospects” had more draft picks than some of those “D1 Prospects” on other rotations. The “D1” thing is dumb

- If you aren’t lifting, keep in mind there are players that are, and they can’t wait to take your spot. Applies at all levels.
- Definitely a late bloomer 😂‼️27 Days until Opening Day‼️ Wearing #27 this season is assistant coach Gary Asbill Jr. The former Pacer catcher returns to the dugout to serve as the catching coach and and head of minin’ (taking care of the turf grass). We’re very excited to see Gary in a Pacer uniform again!
