The reality is the game of baseball is not fair. There are guys more talented than you who don’t put in half the work you do. & There are guys less talented than you getting better opportunities than you. You can either bitch about it, or DO something about it. Take action!

“Rotate with slack” One of my favorite cues for helping guys get away from pushing/extending off the rubber and facilitating better rotation of the pelvis into landing (1/6)

Play or Train this summer? -Are you the best player on your team? -Are you better than 65% of the players at the next level? -Have you had serious interest from teams/orgs at next level? No? Then you should probably train until you can say yes to 2 of these.

Athlete Highlight 🔥 Gage Mason 90 ➡️ 96 Gage came to us in mid-November topping 90 in game. After some adjustments, he was able to see an uncommonly fast uptick in velo, topping 96 in an indoor pen @TreadHQ on 12/19/23. Here’s what we worked on 🧵

As a rule of thumb, Things that come quickly can be lost just as fast Things that take time + effort are more likely to stick around for the long haul Be very skeptical of “quick fixes”

More and more people are realizing the "D1" tag is meaningless if the school won't help you develop. Don't fall into the "D1" hype

If your teammates give u a hard time about doing extra work its because they can see their own playing time disappearing right b4 their eyes

All the command training you do while you're sitting 80 will really come in handy when you're just a student and not a student athlete

Velocity increases are never guaranteed No matter how hard you work No matter how much strength you gain No matter how much muscles mass you gain You are not guaranteed to gain any velocity You must come to terms with this reality

The great ones have a different side a different personality an alter ego Specifically for when they’re competing This is a MUST if you want to go as far as you possibly can in this game

Become a great thrower 1st (efficient mechanics for health & velo). Then work on the craft of pitching (command, offspeed, movement, etc.)

HS & COLLEGE PITCHERS: Unless you already throw 90+ with 👌🏽offspeed, you do NOT need to be playing summer ball. You need to be training!
