- Today, three pro-bikers from Italy have travelled across Europe to bring bike therapy to children and long-term patients at our hospital. This is the first time they've visited a hospital in the UK and we absolutely loved seeing the smiles on our staff and patients faces!
00:00 - Yesterday, we launched new 'wobble rooms' for staff who need a quiet space to share worries, verbalise emotion or just sit quietly. These rooms are part of our staff wellbeing package - which includes 24/7 mental health support and weekly care bundles for all teams.
- Her Majesty The Queen today officially opened our urgent and emergency care development. Following a tour of the development, Her Majesty commemorated the occasion by unveiling a plaque alongside a pupil Latoyah Vashi, from @badburypark.
- On April 2, Safurat was admitted with COVID-19. 111 days later, she went home today. Safurat is the oldest patient who was ventilated that has recovered. Her daughter, Ola, said: A big thank you to you all. Our sincere gratitude goes to all the wonderful GWH teams."

- Our physios held a surprise graduation at the hospital for the phyios who finished university early last year to join us during the pandemic, and who didn't get their own uni graduations. They were presented with a certificate, and were joined virtually by their families.
- As we count down to the weekend, Swindon's emergency and urgent care team prepare for a busy 48 hours providing lifesaving care. Dr Stephen Haig asks local people to stay safe by following social distancing and being mindful of drinking too much.

00:00 - Speech and Language Therapists on ICU have developed โConversation Stationsโ that include resources to help support communication for every patient on the unit. The stations include writing tablets, picture charts, phrase charts, pain scales and orientation boards. Great work!
