    Well, here goes nothing, sometimes to move forward you have to leave some things behind. From now on I will no longer be making chip annotations and will only be contributing to media in limited capacity. Minecraft testing TBD, but for now on hold too. Thank you all! 😉

    Regarding the B650 "no overclocking" or "memory only overclocking" stuff that is spreading around... Official AMD word (at least as official as asking Robert Hallock on Discord can be): B650 Supports ALL forms of overclocking, NO CHANGE from previous x50 chipsets. #silicongang

    GPU Reviewer guide 2021: 1, Refuse to test with ResizableBAR 2, Test more pro stuff than games because RDNA=gaming 3, Ignore results where AMD does well 4, Repeat AMD bad throughout the review 5, Ignore extra VRAM, say it's useless 6, Muh DLSS (Ignore CAS ofc) 7, Muh RayTracing

    Annotated! 😁 Funny how the RDNA WGP scalar units keep getting moved around, now back to RDNA1 layout. The SRAM around the IMC is also present on PHX2 (and presumably PHX1), but seemingly not the desktop IOD or older CPUs/APUs. Overall... neat, without any major surprises.

    ArrowLake! A lot of extra unused PCIe lanes and Thunderbolt ports as a result of reusing the MeteorLake I/O Tile. The IMC PHY is also oddly large with 18 "blocks" compared to MeteorLake's 12 blocks. 🧵 Original from bilibili.com/video/BV1npy5Y… reposted on X by @9550pro

    For those saying Zen 4 doesn't have "true" AVX512 due to the 2x256bit nature of it, reminder that AlderLake and RocketLake are the same. And from what I've seen Zen 4 is overall faster since its better at a wider range of the more obscure instructions.

    PlayStation 5 annotation of @FritzchensFritz's great IR pic is here #silicongang! CPU FPUs are cut-down vs normal Zen 2. GPU WGPs appear different to RDNA1's while the frontend & ROPs are similar. Also appears to support Display-over-USB, perhaps for the front USB-C for VR? 😏

    DLSS3 arguments prediction: Artifacts suddenly don't matter because they go by so fast thanks to the multiplied framerate that you will never notice. And as usual: There is absolutely no way AMD can come close to this without ML and matrix cores.

    Annotation of #Intel LunarLake! Not much to highlight imo, though I quite like the layout of the iGPU, way less messy than MeteorLake LionCove is also quite compact relative to its L2 cache compared to RedwoodCove Pictures by GeekerWan & 万扯淡, provided to me by @Kurnalsalts

    Finally - the @AMD Zen 3 core #silicongang BTB reshuffle makes that part a bit of an unknown, also sudden SRAM increase for the L2 dTLB! - I think? 🤔 Original photo from the amazing @FritzchensFritz, even if this delid was a little rougher than usual.
