Erick came into our program last year as an 8th grader weighing 285lbs. He made a goal to get to 215lbs. He never missed a day of practice and dedicated himself for 1 year. He reached his goal today. Congrats, you are what we are looking for in our program. Proud of you!
80% of the team had not wrestled ever. Most were able to at least get their first HS win. GHS Duals- 3rd in the V and JV side. I was able to put 3 teams out there on Sat. Our girls wrestled great. It is a marathon and nothing matters until championship time. We will be READY!
The Big Sky-we got lucky, this young man just fell on our lap. Exactly what we needed! Comes ready to perform everyday. Last year fell a little short, he was not going to be denied the podium this year. 4th at the State, with 1 more year to chase the ‘Chip!

It’s a great day for Red Elephant Wrestling!
What a great day to be a Red Elephant Wrestler! We went 4-1 today and earned a State Berth to Macon. We fought adversity all day today, but when we needed to come through we did! Great job today!
Appreciate you Mario! This young man has face so much adversity over the last few years. All he does is smile and goes to work. I know 3rd wasn’t what he wanted— he is a CHAMP in my eyes. Proud of you, and THANK YOU for everything you’ve done for our Program! #linkedforlife
Super Proud of my team. Went in as the 4th seed and almost pulled out the upset. Came down to the last 2 matches. Every match went back and forth. Showed a lot of heart today. Now shift the focus to individuals!

Just Returned—Wonderful but long 2 days in Cobb County. Watched our FB team take 1 more step to the State Championship. I tip my cap to the coaches and players for what they have accomplished in YR 1. Then helped our team take 2nd at MHS. Rest a bit,and back at it Monday!
After a grueling and long 2 days- 6 of our Boys and 2 of our girl wrestlers have punched a ticket to the State Wrestling Championships at the Centreplex in Macon next week. They’ve worked hard to get to this point. A few more days of practice and we are off. #getonthepodium
Long Season but worth seeing these young men and women fight through adversity and learn the great values that this sport provides. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. Appreciate Them ALL. Whether they won or lost they’ve gained my Respect! #prepfor2024
