I know that people think @NAIABall isn’t a high level of baseball. However I just watched two number ones dual it out this afternoon. One guy sat 90-93 and the other 91-95! There is some really great baseball in the NAIA!

- Reason #1 why I rarely send our pitchers to summer ball. I asked a coach to pitch our guy in relief for at most 60 pitches an outing. Jumped online this morning to see that he started and threw 100 pitches. Already told our guy to be smarter but coaches let’s have some feel.
- 😂😂😂 this lifted my spirits this morning.That first pitch today was really something.
- We may or may not have everyone beat...when we throw the 1st pitch today it will end a 667 day drought of playing a home game on our own field. Between field construction & COVID we last played at home on April 27, 2019. #outwiththeoldinwiththenew
- This pitching competition is something we do weekly with our dudes. We want our pitchers to be superior competitors more than anything else. This fast paced, tough environment provides our guys the ability to grow their skill set!
00:00 - Had a team competition today playing some doubles tennis. Shoutout to @ThatGuy__Kai for sharing this. Created a ton of competition while still working on skills.
00:00 - These signs are out at our field everyday. Today when I went 2 lock up I found trash in the rubber/sand bin & I found gum, seeds & dip on our field. This is the exact reason we recruit from a select group of travel ball teams. We want kids who pay attention & do the right stuff.
- My wife & I pray daily for God to send the right guys to Ottawa. We want to see guys change their lives for the better here. The stories of how guys get to Ottawa is truly Gods timing. Coaching isn’t a profession, it’s a ministry to teach young men how to lead w/ a servants ❤️!
- Before & After...I’d say this is a bit of an upgrade! One of the best in the Midwest! Huge thanks to @connera23 & @DocReggies for making this happen! @MammothTurf thank you! Can’t wait for the drone shots next week! This field is a game changer for @Ottawa_Baseball!
- Transfer Portal Arms: Be straight forward about your metrics. Looked at 4 different guys yesterday who said they were 88-90 here on X. I went and found Synergy & Trackman info on those guys which said none of them were above 85. Just shoot it straight it goes way further.

- I am convinced that strike throwers at higher levels either... A. Played wiffle ball as a kid & had a strike zone which was a lawn chair. B. Threw in the backyard to their dad, would bounce a FB that hit him in the shins and then get chewed out for it! B made you tougher!
- Missing the matching logo on the right side and the infill...this will be one of the best small college places in the Midwest (I might be a little biased). Looking forward to it being completely finished!
